Christopher P. Sala, AIA
Lead Project Architect, CTS Group
Chris has been with CTS Group for nine years and serves as the Lead Project Architect on the firm’s educational, historic, adaptive reuse, residential and federal projects. He is actively involved in a wide range of educational projects, K-12 and Higher Education, in addition to various commercial and historic restoration projects throughout New York and New Jersey. Active roles in these projects include surveying existing/historic conditions, design development, construction documentation, construction administration and field inspections.

Mr. Sala played a major role in many of CTS Group’s award-winning projects including AIA Design Awards for the Newark Vocational High School Culinary Arts and Hospitality Academies in Newark, NJ, and the Aaronson Student Center at Baruch College in New York City.

He received his Bachelor of Architecture from the New Jersey Institute of Technology’s School of Architecture and Design (NJIT).

Chris played ice hockey growing up, during his entire tenure at NJIT and continues to play to this day. He is an avid skier in the winter and can be found fishing up and down the Jersey Shore in the summer.
