James J. Greener, AIA, CSI, PP, NCARB
President, CTS Group
A practicing architect in the New York Metro area for over 40 years, Jim is currently serving as President of CTS Group. In his leadership role, Jim continues to expand the reputation of CTS as a competent, award-winning architectural firm, while maintaining the firm’s long-standing legacy of responsiveness to the needs of it’s clients.
Jim is Principal-In-Charge for many of the firm’s most important projects, most notably for the firm’s federal clients. Recent projects include a 280,000 square foot interiors project for the US Postal Service at the historic James A. Farley Building in Midtown Manhattan. While Jim enjoys his leadership position with the design team, he is passionate about keeping the firm technically on-point and detail driven.
He received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the New jersey School of Architecture at New Jersey Institute of Technology, Newark, NJ. Jim has always endeavored to support the profession of architecture. He served two terms as President of the New Jersey Chapter of the Construction Specification Institute and remains an active member. He is a long-time member of his local and state AIA Chapters and is currently serving as Chair of his hometown’s Historic Preservation Commission.
Jim enjoys traveling, hitting the gym, spending time with his incredible expanding family, and a good glass of red wine at the end of a productive day.
